Some New Pics of Harold
As promised her are some new pictures of Harold, A.K.A. Harry, looking much happier now that things are going well for him. He's getting along great with his foster brother and he's picking up commands very quickly. He knows sit and down. He also understands that sitting is a better way to get what he wants. Harry remains as always very affectionate.
He's not allowed on furniture in case his forever home doesn't want him there, and he seems to have no problem with it. He also doesn't seem to have a problem with the fact that his foster brother is allowed on the furniture.
I also have to brag that everyone is in love with him at the dog park because he is so eager to say hello to everyone, but is very polite about it. He doesn't jump up, and after people greet him, he occupies himself elsewhere.

Mr. Harold Goes To Washington
Harold, Harry for short, has found a new foster family in Washington, DC. He joins me and foster brother Reilly.
He sat patiently observing the scenery on his car ride across the river. Still a little unsure of what was going on, he was friendly but reserved that first night. Fortunately he continues to increase his responsiveness and affection to his foster family. Occasionally his foster brother begins to grumble when Harry wants to play, but he quickly and politely moves along to his next task so as not to escalate the situation. On his walks and at the dog park he is eager to great every person and dog alike along the way.
I look forward to posting pictures of Harry soon because it's important everyone see that he's not the hang-your-head-low jailbird in his picture but a confident and handsome hound.
